She is a Software Engineer and Researcher with over 5 years of experience in various fields such as Data Science, Machine Learning, Networks, Cryptocurrency, CyberSecurity, IoT, Software Defined WAN, REST Frameworks, Cloud Computing, Microservices, and Distributed Systems. Currently, Urvashi is working as a Machine Learning Engineering Intern at Twitter, where she is working on Twitter Ads Ranking and Ads Recommendation models. Prior to this, she worked as a Graduate Machine Learning Researcher at Carnegie Mellon University, where she worked on Multimodal Question Answering using Generative models. Her research work focused on handling data that is a mixture of image, text, audio, and video modalities. Before joining Carnegie Mellon University, Urvashi worked as a Senior Software Engineer 1 at Citrix, where she gained valuable experience in various areas such as Software Development, Microservices, Cloud Computing, and REST Frameworks. Urvashi holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Science & Engineering from RV College of Engineering and is currently pursuing a Master of Computational Data Science degree from Carnegie Mellon University, which she is expected to complete in December 2022.
